Day 16

I enjoy antique shopping and like to find items I will use in my everyday life. I was so excited when I found this old "button vase." I'm not sure if it is really to be used as a vase, but I love old buttons and use them in sewing and scrapbooking projects. What a great way for me to store and display my old buttons.

The quilt the vase is sitting on is one my grandma made for me many years ago. Lots of little squares of polyester material, so very warm. Sure miss my grandma, but love having things she made around to remind me of her.
