Happy Birthday Matt and Mark!

Photobucket

Can't believe these guys are 26 years old today! Somedays it seems like just yesterday, other times it seem like forever ago. Looking back I realize how little we knew about the awesome task that lay ahead of us and how many mistakes we made along the way. Being the oldest children, they were our guinea pigs. In spite of us, they have become amazing young men - we are so proud of them!!

I miss having them around especially today, but am so happy that they are loving their lives in Florida and Colorado.

(for the record, Mark is on the left and Matt is on the right of the baby picture.)

Happy Birthday, Matt & Mark! You have a great mom...and dad. I owe the world to them. And I too, am happy to be one of the wives enjoying the outcome of such an amazing, loving family.

Thank you very much for the compliments. I am very thankful to have you guys as parents, and by no means think you made all these mistakes. I love you both very much, and miss you too. Less than 3 wks & we will be there!

Love this post! And love the baby picture, although I have no idea who is who and when I asked Mark, he didn't know either :) Who would have known that meeting you both at a bonfire the first weekend of college in 2001 would bring me such joy and into your family. I am so grateful to have met you both, be your friends, marry Mark, and be in your family. You are both very special to all of us.

Thanks guys! I appreciate it. It is hard to believe that we are 26. For the last 6 months I have harrassed Rosie that she is in her "late" twenties, while I am only in my "mid" twenties. But now I realize that "late" doesn't start til at least 28. Thanks mom and dad for everything you have done and provided for us! I love you guys. Can't wait to see you (hopefully on turkey day)!
